I'm currently working on an active portal, in pfSense. My goal is to implement a Facebook Login along with the default Local User Manager. While I'm developing, I have no authentication method whatsoever, meaning I have unlimited internet access (I tested it). But, when I click on the login button, the following error appears: Error image

I know that it's in Portuguese, but it says something along the lines: "The address given is not allowed by the Application configuration .: One or more of the URL is not allowed by the application settings. These must match the Website URL or URL canvas or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the application fields."

Is this coming from bad coding, or is it something that it is blocked on pfSense?

  • What URLs are configured in your Facebook app ID's settings, and are those the same URLs your login code is using? – Igy Apr 01 '16 at 10:21
  • Since I have pfSense in a virtual machine, this is what I am trying to do: Use Dynamic Hostname Software (DUC v4.1.1), and use that to configure my Facebook APP. I used that for my "website" as well as for my "App Domains". It's the first time I'm using this, so I find this a little difficult. Facebook Like is working, but the Facebook Login isn't. My research told me that their login is way more secure and needs more info to work, but I can't get it to work. – Mirlfit Apr 04 '16 at 08:53
